April 11 – 30 Csik and Gyimes, Romania
Scrub removal on abandoned mountain pastures.
May 18-20 Training Weekend at Kingcombe Centre, Dorset
June 15-17 Lepidoptera and Botanical training weekend at Springhead, Fontmell Magna, near Shaftesbury
Late June – Early July Fertö-Hanság, Hungary
Work on butterfly surveys and a species re-introduction initiative.
July 26 – Aug 1 International Butterfly and Moth Conservation Camp, Hungary

International Haymaking Festival

We have applied for Leonardo Mobility funding for our visits to Hungary and Romania, and these will be primarily for graduates in biological or ecological science subjects who are currently unemployed, or employed in fields other than conservation or ecology.

We have also applied for Leonardo da Vinci and Grundtvig funding to continue our partnerships with the LPO in La Brenne, central France; the NGO Daphne and the Town Council in Ždánice in the Czech Republic; Fertö Hanság National Park in eastern Hungary; the NGOs ETNA and CMoK in Poland; and our partners in the Picos de Europa in northern Spain.
