We are getting good at clearing overgrown sallows from the wet flushes on the Butterfly Conservation reserve in Neroche Forest on the Blackdown Hills. This is our third contract and involved a team of 10 people including trainees.
It’s hard work and pretty muddy! But the habitat that is revealed when we have finished makes it very satisfying!
The proceeds from our contract work will help to fund our practical conservation visits to our EU partners.
