Tree planting near Winsham

Maudlin Lane, nr Winsham.

We are aiming to plant a new mixed species hedge of 1200 trees and build a fence to protect them on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Come and help us!

On Wednesday the main job will be to erect the protective fence and to start planting the tree whips.

On Thursday and possibly Friday we will be planting the trees and putting tree guards round them to protect them from deer, rabbits, voles etc.

We can provide the necessary tools. Please bring your lunch and hot drinks for refreshments, and a spade for planting if you have one.

We’ll aim to meet on site at 9am each day but you’ll find us easily if you arrive later.
