The Great British Spring Clean - EuCAN Volunteers needed!

The Great British Spring Clean and Great Big School Clean 2025 took place in late March and early April but we are holding our own verge clean close to the small-holding at Pollbridge on April 29th.
Our group will meet at 9am at Pollbridge Stables on Tuesday 29th to do our bit. We are looking for EuCAN Volunteers to help clear up scumbag alley! from the A3030 junction at Caundle Marsh to Cornford Bridge. Please join us for all or part of the day.There seems to be much less litter here than there used to be perhaps because more people are clearing it up, rather than fewer people throwing it out of their vehicles!

This task may not take more than a couple of hours but there are plenty of other maintenance jobs to do round the smallholding.

We will get the woodburner going to heat the kettle and will warm some soup for lunch. The forecast still looks pretty good for next week!

We will provide the tools for the work, but please bring your own mug, your packed lunch and working gloves with you.
Meet at 9am in the yard.
If you are a chainsaw or brushcutter user, you will need you own PPE and you should have attended a refresher course in the last five years.
