Scrub cutting and other winter work at Alners Gorse Butterfly Reserve, Hazelbury Bryan.

Alners Gorse Butterfly Reserve

Today we will be continuing with our winter work at Alners Gorse, working on the bramble, willow and thorn in different parts of the reserve, and burning up if conditions permit.

We shall aim to start at 8.30 but please walk down to find us if you arrive later. Bring lunch and hot drinks, and loppers and bowsaw if you have them. Brushcutter and chainsaw operators please bring PPE.
Please let me know if you are going to join us so that I can tell you if we are going to call it off because of the weather.
