Our task today will be to help the Somerset Wildlife Trust reduce the invasive Wilson’s Honeysuckle (Lonicera nitida) , originally planted as a pheasant cover, now hugely destructive.

We won’t be using power tools as these tend to break the plants into tiny pieces, each of which can grow again! It will be a nice quiet day – good news for some!!
Meet at the entrance to the wood at 10am, bring secateurs and loppers if you have your own. And of course your refreshments and lunch.
