Hedgelaying in Cerne Abbas

We have been asked to lay the hedge between the Cerne Abbas village hall and the adjacent lane – for safety reasons as there is a considerable drop to the lane from the carpark. Whether you an experienced hedgelayer or not, please join us to help and/or learn.

Meet in the Village Hall carpark at 9am or join us if you are arriving later.

If you have suitable tools – loppers, billhook, pruning saw and/or bowsaw, please bring them. Bring your refreshments and lunch, and wear tough gloves. The trees are mainly hazels rather than thorns.
