Hardington Moor National Nature Reserve nr West Coker

The second of 2 days cutting and burning an area of the coarse vegetation on the western side of the reserve – we would be grateful of any extra pairs of hands if anyone is available . We will provide the tools for the work, but please bring your own mug, hot drinks and snacks, your packed lunch and working gloves with you.
If you are a chainsaw or brushcutter user, you will need your own PPE and you should have attended a refresher course in the last five years.

We shall meet at 8.30am in the work area – either park in the lower parking area marked on the map or beside the lane at the top and walk down. If you arrive later, please park and walk to find us.
