We shall be spending the day at Pollbridge stables and the smallholding, where there are a number of jobs to be done to get ready for the spring and summer – clearing the beds and putting dung on them, putting up the fence to keep the ponies off the riverbank etc etc. We can get the woodburner going to heat the kettle and will warm some soup for lunch. The forecast still looks pretty good for next week!
We will provide the tools for the work, but please bring your own mug, your packed lunch and working gloves with you.
Meet at 9am in the yard.
If you are a chainsaw or brushcutter user, you will need you own PPE and you should have attended a refresher course in the last five years.
