Grassland management to improve the school wildflower meadow

The former football pitch is now being developed into a wildflower meadow for the use of the school for outdoor activities. We will be cutting and removing the rank grass and remains of the wildflowers to help to improve the floweriness of the field. Later in the autumn, it will be scarified and more seed sown. The quality of the field is slowly improving.
