Grass cutting and other maintenance at Hinton St Mary (Sturminster Newton)

Hinton St Mary, Sturminster Newton. At the junction of Old School Lane and Steart's Lane. At the back of the White Horse Inn.

The EuCAN volunteers have been asked to help the Community Garden in Hinton St Mary with the grasscutting in the areas round the fruit trees where the grass and wildflowers have been allowed to grow high and set seed. We will be brushcutting the grass and raking off the arisings into heaps round the edge.

We will meet on site (see map) at 9.30am; bring lunches and refreshments and wear tick-proof clothing. Certificated brushcutter operators will need the usual PPE.
