EuCAN Dorset Midweek Volunteers Bracken control at The Donkey Sanctuary

This week we shall be working on the Donkey Sanctuary’s Brookfield Farm- a once a year visit to an interesting area.

It’s our farthest work area, so the minibus pick-ups will be a bit earlier than usual.

The task is to remove bracken using brushcutters and slashers, (As many brushcutter operators as possible please …. all with appropriate PPE).

Note: Wear heavy gloves when pulling out bracken stems, as robust stems can splinter and cause serious hand wounds. Full risk Assessment attached
