Broadcroft Quarry Butterfly Reserve, Portland - conservation workparty

There is plenty of scrub removal to do but today we are also going to finish taking out the invading woody scrub – bramble, clematis and all the other undesirables – that has moved into our newly scraped areas this summer.

The Dorset branch of Butterfly Conservation and EuCAN will be collaborating on regular tasks on a variety of sites on Portland.
Meet at 9am next to the recycling centre at Broadcroft Quarry or walk to find us if you arrive later.  Bring loppers, bowsaw and secateurs if you have them – and your refreshments and lunch.
