France Quarry off the Grove on Portland

We in EuCAN CIC have offered to fell several large sycamore trees that are threatening bungalows that back onto France Quarry.

The trees are growing on apparently unregistered land and no one will take responsibility for taking them down to protect these houses. So we are doing this as a community gesture.

We shall be working with tree surgeons but need help clearing up once the trees are felled.

We shall be meeting at the parking place at the back of Crown Farm Terrace at 9am, but if you arrive later, please walk to find us – see map!

Tools will be provided but please bring your own lunch and refreshments.
