We shall be brushcutting thorn and bramble regrowth in the areas where we have been clearing the slopes for a number of years.

If you would like to join us to help clear up cut material, please let me know. This is a very important site for some rare butterfly species and it is vital to maintain a balance between open grassland and thorn and bramble scrub which provides shelter and breeding sites for the females.
Meet in the Village Hall carpark at 8.30 or walk up to find us if you arrive later.
We will provide the tools for the work, but please bring your own mug, hot drinks and snacks, your packed lunch and working gloves with you.
If you are a chainsaw or brushcutter user, you will need your own PPE and you should have attended a refresher course in the last five years.
