Join us for a gentle walk round the butterfly transect route at Alners Gorse and on the neighbouring land at Rooksmoor.
The new season should be well under way and we would hope to hear some good early bird species and see several varieties of butterflies if it is warm enough, including perhaps Marsh Fritillary larvae that have recently emerged from hibernation.

We shall meet at the reserve entrance at 11 am but walk down to find us if you arrive later. Bring lunch if you would like to eat with us.
It may well still be wet underfoot so best to wear wellies!
