The meeting point is the Crescent Wood Road entrance into Sydenham Hill Wood at 4:45am, aiming to begin by 5am. The walk will be led by the Wood’s official bird surveyor Dave Clark, who has a wealth of knowledge about the birds there and in surrounding sites such as Dulwich, Belair and Crystal Palace Park. This is a free walk but donations are welcome.

There is a good possibility of the following species: Great, blue, coal and long-tailed tit, robin, wren, nuthatch, blackbird, song thrush, tawny owl, chiffchaff, blackcap, sparrowhawk, and ring necked parakeet amongst others.
