Somerset EuCAN volunteers working to clear one of the ponds at The Magdalen Centre Feb 2018

The Somerset EuCAN group undertook a very challenging task at The Magdalen Centre, near Winsham clearing one of their ponds of overhanging willows on a very cold day with 3 cms of ice on the pond! At the end of the day, many of the willows had been removed and processed and the brash burnt up: all in all a great success. We shall be returning to the Centre for further pond work over the next two years. See this link for photos and an updated programme of forthcoming events.
