Great news from La Brenne about our Fritillary clearing!

We have just received photos of this season’s fantastic display of Snakeshead Fritillaries in the woodland clearing we created in La Touche reserve. Over a period of several years we cleared the ash and oak trees that had colonised this former damp meadow and every year the Fritillaries seem to have spread further across the clearing! Well done everyone who was involved!
