Summer Training weekend July 18 - 20 2014

• a day course in botanical identification and chalk downland habitat creation with Bryan Edwards, senior surveyor for the Dorset Environmental Records Centre.
• two one-day courses in butterfly identification and ecology with visits to chalk downland and damp grassland/scrub reserves and covering butterfly monitoring by transect walking
• a one day workshop in Bumble Bee identification, ecology and conservation presented by the Bumble Bee Conservation Trust.
• In addition we shall be putting out moth traps on both nights so there will be plenty of opportunity to get to know a good selection of summer species.
