Grassland management work at The Gryphon School in Sherborne
There is a massive amount of Ragwort which we need to deal with and the central bank is overgrown with Spear and Creeping thistles.
Clearly no one has been looking after this site!
The good news is that the area that we have been cutting annually has improved considerably and has a lot of wildflowers on it.
There may be rain coming in later in the morning but we’ll meet at 9am at the upper entrance into the field (see map). You need to come in off the Charlton Horethorne road from the north as the road is closed further down beside the electricity sub-station.
Let’s think positively and bring lunch and drinks! I’ll provide cake and biscuits.
