Cutting bramble and thorn regrowth and burning up at Lankham Bottom Butterfly Reserve

Lankham Bottom Butterfly Reserve near Cattistock

The priority today is to burn up the material we have cut and heaped up – as long as the wind is suitable (from the east as forecast- ie blowing away from the A37)  There is plenty more bramble and other scrub to cut if there is time.
Bring loppers and bowsaws if you have them and PPE if you are a registered brushcutter user. Also bring your refreshments and lunch.
Meet inside the main gate for a 8.30am start or park and walk to find us if you arrive later. We would be very pleased to receive any extra help if you can spare a few hours.
